Iyengar-Style Hatha Yoga Series

Join Jan Dean in an all-levels Iyengar-style hatha yoga class at the lovely Argenta Healing Arts studio in the historic Argenta district of downtown North Little Rock. Jan found yoga in 1989 to nurse a chronic pain condition. She began teaching yoga in 1995, pain free, and continues to study with advanced teachers to further her practice and share her knowledge with students. Iyengar yoga strongly emphasizes physical alignment in the yoga poses creating a sense of balance and lightness that will be reflected in the mind in the form of inner awareness and equanimity. These classes will utilize props to customize poses for optimal alignment for each person’s body. Those new to yoga are welcome.

Yoga for Seniors 6-Class Series

Join Kali Empl, RYT 500, as she guides us through this 6-class series designed for those who weren’t born yesterday. Held at the beautiful studios of Argenta Healing Arts in the Argenta District of downtown North Little Rock, this class is suitable for beginners or those completely new to yoga. Wear comfortable loose clothing — there’s no need to bring anything but a positive attitude and an open mind! Mats, chairs, blankets and all other props provided.
